Mothers Day Portraits
What you will need:
- Canvas
- Pencil
- Paints or Silkies Paint Sticks
- Pallet and Paint Brush Set
Step 1
Draw a portrait of your Mum, Grandma, Aunty or Godmother with a grey lead first. Then you might like to go over this with a black marker to make it stand out more
Step 2
Paint your portrait using different coloured paints. You can mix new colours to make skin tones too, just remember to clean your paint brush in water when changing colour
Heart Tape Resist Art
Materials
- - Paint
- - Paint palette
- - Tape
- - Canvas
- - Sponge brushes
- - Pencil
Step 1
Draw a heart onto paper and attach it to the canvas using tape- ensure the tape is underneath the heart
Step 2
Add paint to the paint palette or a piece of paper and dip the sponge brush into the paint
Step 3
Paint over the heart so the canvas if full of paint- Remember to clean your brush between paint colour changes
